Detroit native and pizza visionary. Brandon oversees the brand's creative direction and ensures every pizza meets the family standard he grew up with.
Born in a Detroit kitchen and raised in Cedar Park, Via 313 brings authentic square-cut, deep-dish pizza crafted from family recipes that have stood the test of time.
Via 313 started as a dream shared between two brothers from Detroit — Brandon and Zane Hunt — who grew up eating square, deep-dish pizza the way only Detroiters know it. Moving to Austin, Texas, they quickly realized nobody was making the real thing.
"We didn't come here to reinvent pizza. We came here to share the pizza we grew up with — the one our grandma made on Sunday afternoons in Detroit."
In 2011, armed with family recipes, a borrowed trailer, and an unwavering belief in their product, they launched Via 313 from a food trailer at a local watering hole in Austin. Lines wrapped around the block from week one.
Today, Via 313 has grown into a beloved Texas institution with multiple locations across the state. Our Cedar Park location brings the same bold flavors, the same crispy-edged square slices, and the same love poured into every pie — just like the original trailer.
Everything we do is rooted in a simple belief: great food made with real ingredients, served with genuine hospitality.
Every pizza we make carries the same love and attention that Brandon and Zane's family put into their Detroit kitchen. No shortcuts, no compromises.
We source fresh, high-quality toppings, hand-crushed tomatoes, and whole-milk mozzarella because your pizza deserves nothing less than the best.
We believe restaurants are the heartbeat of neighborhoods. That's why we partner with local suppliers, support local events, and give back to our community.
From the square pan to the lace-edge crust, every detail of our Detroit-style pizza is faithful to the original. Authenticity isn't a buzzword — it's our promise.

Via 313 is named "Best Pizza in Austin" by the Austin Chronicle — the first of many awards and accolades that cement the brand's place in Texas food culture.

Get in TouchDetroit-style pizza isn't just a shape — it's a technique, a tradition, and a taste unlike anything else. Here's what sets Via 313 apart from every other pizza you've tried.
Baked in seasoned steel pans that create the signature crispy, caramelized cheese edges Detroiters call "lace."
True Detroit-style means sauce goes on top of the cheese — locking in moisture and delivering bold tomato flavor in every bite.
We never compromise on cheese. Real whole-milk mozzarella stretches to every corner of the pan for a perfectly gooey result.
Our dough cold-ferments for 48 hours, developing deep flavor and the airy, focaccia-like texture that makes Detroit pizza so unique.
